Gwynedd’s primary objective is to provide exceptional money management and advice in a cost effective, transparent manner. The following fee schedule includes Gwynedd’s advisory fee, the custodians’ fee and the investment vehicle expense ratio. Most firms charge an additional fee for financial planning services. Gwynedd does not. Personal financial planning and an individual client website is provided free to each client. Total fees are considerably less than the 2%-3% that a typical investment advisor charges.
The following are Gwynedd’s advisory fee schedule and that of our primary custodian, Folio Investments. In addition, we have listed the investment vehicle fees of a typical model portfolio. Please note, Gwynedd may utilize Separate Account managers depending on the needs of the client and only with client approval. Separate Account manager fees vary and typically begin at .25%.
The fee schedule is tiered. When a breakpoint is surpassed, the fees are assessed for the assets only in such tier. For example, the fee for assets between $0 and $500,000 is 1.25% and the fee for assets between $500,000 and $1,000,000 is 1.15%. An account with $1,000,000 in assets will be charged the following: the assets between $0 and $500,000 are assessed 1.25% and the assets between $500,000 and $1,000,000 are assessed 1.15%.
Folio charges custodial/brokerage fees on all accounts. In addition, Folio charges separate fees for special services such as Account closing/transfer outs and a Checkbook for your Folio account.
Folio does not have proprietary mutual funds, ETF’s or separate accounts.
